10.21 - And if We make the people taste mercy after an affliction has touched them, at once they devise plans against Our signs. Say: Allah is the quickest to plan. Indeed, Our messengers write what you plan. 10.22 - It is He Who makes you travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail on with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, a violent wind comes to it and the waves come to them from everywhere and they thought that they are surrounded thereby, they call upon Allah, sincere to Him in religion (saying): If You save us from this, we will surely be among the grateful. 10.23 - So when He saved them, at once they make mischief in the land without right. O people! Indeed, your perpetration is only against yourselves, (being) the provision of the life of this world. And to Us will be your return and We will inform you of what you used to do. 10.24 - The example of the life of this world is only like water which We send down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb, from which the people and the cattle eat until, when the earth has taken its adornment and it became garnished and its people think that they have power over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, so We render it as harvest, as if it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do We explain the signs for a people who think. 10.25 - And Allah invites to the home of peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path. 10.26 - For those who have done good will be the best and more, neither darkness nor humiliation will cover their faces. Those are the companions of the garden, they will be therein abiding. 10.27 - And those who have earned evil deeds, the reward of an evil is its likeness, moreover humiliation will cover them; they will not have against Allah any defender. It will be as if their faces are covered with a part of a dark night; those are the companions of the fire, they will be therein abiding. 10.28 - And the day when We will gather them all together, and We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Stay in your places, you and your associates. Then We will separate between them, and their associates will say: You did not used to worship us. 10.29 - And sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that indeed, we were of your worship unaware. 10.30 - At that time every soul will be put to trial for what it sent before, and they will be returned to Allah, their Guardian, the Truth. And lost from them will be whatever they used to forge.
